« To speak of "good taste" invariably turns out to mean either one's own taste, or perhaps the taste of those that one admires most... Good design means something more permanent and more fundamental than being tasteful.»
In this section we will discuss some of the design solutions that might be the right choice for your space, mainly the use of murals and other similar decorative "faux" finishes.
Each design situation is of course unique, yet there must be a cohesiveness in the overall perception of the client's space, from their front door to the finishes on their bathroom cabinetry.
The key for a well designed space is having all decorative elements blend in effortlessly while at the same time showing personal style and intelligence. Our company is prepared to give you this balanced look and keep it discreet at the same time.

The Faux Leopard Finish shown here is an example of a flawless coordination between a visually strong focal point [the wall of the descending spiral staircase] and the subdued hues in the rest of the wall and furniture finishes.

In the below example of a full scale "trompe l'oeil" design the existing window's architectural proportions have been skillfully replicated as a "framework" of the actual mural. In a sense, this also becomes a part of the "fool/trick the eye" playfulness of the overall composition as well as visually unifying this dining room loft space.
